Thanks so much! I'm glad that you liked them and I'm happy you enjoyed the pics. Really tho, if I told you how I took those pics and the setup used, you'd laugh your socks off. smile

I do plan to share any future purchases here since it's nice to be able to have people enjoy the same things I do. I'm sure many here know full well what it's like to be ecstatic about a new purchase and have nobody else to share it with or even care about it.

Yes, please continue to share. The Sakaki figure is awesome, hehe. I love the Azumanga Daioh clock. I hadn't seen that one before.

Oh, I picked up these little ladies recently:

I think most people here will have no trouble recognizing them. ;-) Perhaps some day I'll have them all.

Sweet! I thought that there was slim to none on a chance of getting them. But if you got ahold of them then there's still hope!

One word for ya Tsunami : PHOTOSHOOT!! laugh

Yeah, they're not cheap but you can find them here and there. I just happen to know probably the best (and coolest) anime convention vendor in the game and he's been kind enough to offer to keep an eye out for things for me during his regular pilgrimages to Japan.

lol..Well that's *always* the plan, the problem is that my backlog is absolutely ridiculous. Not that I couldn't push them to the front of the list, nor is my approach particularly ordered, but it's hard to justify doing a shoot of these newbies when I've neglected others in the pile for ages. I tend to over think thinks like this which is precisely why I deadlock nearly every time I go to pick a figure for a shoot. blush

Curses. Me with limited room and bills to pay.grin
A couple of years ago, while I was at a con, I saw a set of Aria minitures in boxes that when you put them together they made the Aria headquarters building. I thought they were so neat, but I didn't get them. I have kicked myself every time I remember them. I have never seen them again.

I think I know what you're talking about. Check your PMs for a chance to un-kick yourself...

Those are very nice looking Aria figs. I especially like the costume designs on them.

I have not seen any of the Aria shows and know nothing of the characters or story behind them. How is that series? Worth the money and time to get all 3 seasons and such? I was just wondering since the stills of the show I've seen do look very nice.

Congrats on those two, they do look neat!

Most definately worth the time and money. It's a feel good series that you just don't want to end after each ep. The music too is just as good. Of all the reviews i've seen for this series i have yet to see any negative comments on it.

Well, I just got a "goodwill" package from a good friend today that had a bunch of his extra anime DVD's in it. He also included some cool pencil boards and stuff but when I got to the bottom of the box, I found this little gem:

If you don't recognise her, it's Anita from the Read Or Die TV series. I didn't even ask him to send it, he just happened to have an extra and knew I loved that show. Check out her blushing cheeks:

So cute! Unfortunately this means I now must find her 2 sisters so she isn't lonely. smile

And just as a tease, I have some new figs/statues headed my way over the next few weeks so I'll get pics of them as they come in and share with yall! << Excited >>
