So this is my first shoot with my new photo lights. For every improvement over my old "can lights on stacks of TRSI boxes setup", the new lights also impose some new challenges. Overall, though, I think they're going to be great.

Anyway on to the main event; Saber!

..or skip straight to the Gallery or check out the Slideshow (Note: First several shots are of Rin from a shoot ages ago).

Good question. I've built up quite the backlog so, if there are any series/characters that strike yours or anyone else's fancy, there's a chance I might have a figure to match.

My only so-called "rule" is to try not to do adjacent shoots that need the same backdrop color (so my Flickr photostream doesn't look too monotonous) or a character from a series in the three prior photo shoots...not that I'm particularly rigid but I try to mix it up a little rather than cherry-picking all of the figures I'm most pining for (including the Saber Lily figure that just came in recently).

It's time to break your piggy bank Stephanie; I think I've found some figures that meet your criteria:

Since no one had any suggestions I left the choice up to random.org once again. This time it's of the often overshadowed cutie Nia Teppelin from Gurren Lagann:

Nia 1
Nia 2
Nia 3
Nia 4
Nia 5
Nia 6
Nia 7
Nia 8

Sega just came out with I think 4 new figures in this run, 2 Nia figures and 2 Yoko figures, of which I got 3. Typical of Sega figures they're pretty affordable but don't really conform to a particular scale. I'd say this particular figure is somewhere around 1/9th scale. Now I'd really like to see the 1/8th scale Nia up close!

Here is the trio of ladies from Fate/Hollow Ataraxia. I included all three because they were of the same series of swim attire. The photos didn't come out as well as I would have liked. I wasn't able to see how they came out until I downloaded them on the computer. By then I had already put the ladies back into their boxes. Without further delay-

Those are pretty neat. All of them are really nicely sculpted but I think I like the Saber one the best if only because they made an effort to hide the seams. Not that Rin and Sakura aren't nice. I particularly enjoy seeing Rin when she's depicted in a more mellow state than with her usual intensity from the anime.

I did a photo shoot of Metatron from Demonbane earlier in the week. Enjoy!

Note: Not necessarily NSFW but a fair bit racier than average.
