I had been thinking of starting a thread just for figures and toys for some time. I think this should be the right place for it. This will be a thread for people to share their photos and collections or comments. First off, I attended a small comic show this past weekend and I traded a bunch of stuff with another dealer. There is this one figure I got from him. I really liked the look of the figure, but I have no idea who she is or what she is from.
Could anyone out there help me with this one? Help me identify this figure.

Yes they are really cool. I also picked up this figure of Hakufu at the same comic show.

Good call!

Since I watch domestic releases almost exclusively, that usually means that any figure I'd want has long since gone out of production. I've broken my rule a couple of times when I've come across a particularly intriguing figure but I've even had iffy luck with preorders lately.

Thank you. I encourage you to give it a try whenever you're able to. It's a great way to hone your technique on a static subject and, presuming you don't take the spray and pray approach, that experience will carry over directly as a noticeable improvement in your photography of "realtime" subjects...at least that's been my experience.

If you give it a try, it would be neat to see your photos so please post them here when you do.

P.S. I just ordered a Kaori figure tonight and, for the record, I'm holding you directly responsible. wink

I did another shoot today of a new figure. I told myself a long time ago that I wasn't going to be one of those collectors who bought a bunch of figures of the same character....<sigh/> This would be Yoko #3 for me:

Yoko Swimsuit #1
Yoko Swimsuit #2
Yoko Swimsuit #3
Yoko Swimsuit #4
Yoko Swimsuit #5

Edit: Crikey! I keep forgetting that [img] BB codes don't work here.
