What anime titles are on your Blu-ray (BD) wish list? Are they already on BD? If you don't own a BD player, which anime title(s) would convince you to buy one?

I don't have any anime BDs yet. I would definitely buy Gunbuster if it becomes available. I'd buy a Miyazaki box set too.

Utena would be the title I'd most want, especially after seeing the nice package being put together for the anniversary release in Japan. Though I'd likely be buying the discs and have to hold onto them for a few years, since I doubt I'll be upgrading my hardware anytime before 2010. But I have no issue stockpiling releases in anticipation! grin

I'm also looking forward to Bebop on Blu, just for fun. And the Kon movies. Millennium Actress on Blu would be purty.

Blu-Ray...I have a PS3, so thats good enough. As a standard for anime series, maybe not possible because of prices, but any anime movies that come out in the future should all be Blu-ray.

I'm waiting to see where studios go with full series releases, quantity of episodes or quality of picture.

I'm waiting for Vexille or Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence to arrive on Blu-ray.

I mistakenly bought GitS 2: Innocence on dvd. Not knowing that it was Japanese with English sub only, and yet it was still pretty awsome.

Yes, the new DVD and Blu-ray disks will have an English spoken language track by the same cast as GitS Solid State Society. It is good times.

Paprika is the only anime BD I have at the moment, but I look forward to new series and movies being released in high-definition.

Series such as Trinity Blood, Le Chevalier D'Eon, and Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo would look gorgeous on BD, though I doubt that I'll purchase second copies of series that I already have on DVD. Well, there might be one exception... a box set of Cowboy Bebop on BD would be nice. Like other older series, it probably doesn't need the Blu-ray treatment, but it's a sentimental favorite.
