Uhhh good question. Currently watching 19 unlicensed shows (16 from the Spring 2008 season), buying 20 ongoing licensed series on R1 DVD, and awaiting 17 more series that are licensed for R1 but don't have a disc out yet. My DVD backlog is 385 discs, but I can't count them all as "currently watching". 267 of those discs have episodes I'd already seen before the show was licensed, 118 are completely new to me.

So... in terms of DVD, I tend to marathon things when I have all the discs rather than watch disc by disc. The gap between is too long. So I'm only usually "currently watching" an R1 series for the day or three it takes to watch the discs, and I'm not currently on one at the moment. There's a lot of stuff I've been considering rewatching though.

The one show I'm watching that's already completely aired in Japan (all the rest are ongoing) is Futatsu no Spica (Twin Spica), which is a nice little show with pretty much no budget from 2003. I've seen 12 of the 20 eps. It's just the kind of thing I think would fit in with TRSI... still, although I say that, there are a lot of other shows I'd prefer TRSI license first, but this one wouldn't be bad.

I agree. Seirei no Moribito was an awesome show. I was reluctant to try it at first, but when i started it i loved it. However it seems like it's taking forever to get a street date!!

Rewatching Full Metal Panic at the moment.

FMP was only so-so for me, though it has been a few years since i watched it so maybe i'd have a diff opinion watching it now.

FMP was ok for me as well, FUMOFFU was really funny. Let's see...I'm watching Tenjho Tenge, Scrapped Princess. I'm almost done with those two then I'm gonna watch maybe the Banner of the Stars (both serises) maybe even finish Neo Ranga and Final Fantasy Unlimited.

Started GITS-TV. Haven't seen that for awhile. Also going to watch AMG-movie ( need my Belldandy ).

Right now I'm re-watching Dragon Ball Z (started buying those uncut box sets), as well as RahXephon, Code Geass, and I have Noein on the way.

for me, it's all about Urd
AMG is a like/dislike relationship for me. i really enjoy the majority of the characters, but after a while, keiichi and belldandy's relationship really starts to drive me up the wall. either make it official and get on with it, or break up, or let the other characters take over the show.

ironically, i really really enjoyed the mini goddesses anime cause it was short, cute, fun fluff with almost no K&B merry-go-round.

of kosuke fujishima's works, i enjoy YUA best, and thankfully, the nakajima and miyuki relationship is more of a side gag then anything else.

My feelings exactly on AMG. I watched the first season pretty fast and loved it. After I started watching the 2nd season it just became harder and harder to find myself motivated to stick in the next DVD because it was the same thing over and over and over and over. I still have not opened up vol 5 or 6

Last night for me was xxxHolic Volume 3 and Futurama: The Beast with a Billion Backs. My next day off I think it will be Blood+ disc 3 and hopefully Kujiun Vol 2. One of these days I will have to finish Rayearth 2.

i'm a huge CLAMP whore, and MKR is one of my fav classic CLAMP works. i love both seasons, though i would say season 1 is my fav of the two.

Going to re-watch Last Exile.

It might not be one of the more popular titles out there but it is one of my faves. Deff in my top 20. I LOVE the music and mood of last exile.

my copy of The THIRD vol. 6 just showed up today. ROCK!!

i loved Last Exile (love Range Murata's artwork), the music was fabulous, and i LOVED Dios. he was my fav character.

and then the last dvd happened, and everything i loved about Last Exile was ruined. my poor Dios. i thought the ending was horrible, which subsequently ruined the series for me -.-

Right now I am watching Fighting Spirit (thanks to Rightstuf!) on my plasma screen, upscaled to 720p. It looks fantastic and the story is very engaging. I can't stand boxing in real life, but this show makes everything so interesting to watch.

I am also in the middle of Daphne in the Brilliant Blue and the movie Paprika.

i want to see Paprika bad, but i am waiting to buy it on Blu later this year when i get my Blu-Ray player ~drools~

Paprika was pretty good. Just watched it this past weekend and enjoyed it again.

My sister (who is a casual anime fan at best) saw it on cable a while back and enjoyed it. I told her I had the DVD but only saw a portion of it. I didn't want her to ruin the story for me, she has done that before unintentionally.

i used to hunt down spoilers like crazy on almost all anime i watched back in the day. now though, i like the suspense of not knowing. i will peruse when i want more depth to various symbols and references, but i don't actively seek out story spoilers anymore. in fact, i rather don't like it when someone spoiles something for me, but sometimes i guess it can't be helped.

Anyone see Kurogane Communication? The reviews i've read say it's pretty good. What are your thoughts?

Love It. i've rewatched KC a multitude of times (6 or 7 now) and have the cd soundtrack
a very underrated and underappreciated show. KC also has one of the best endings i have seen. very satisfying and brings the whole story full-circle.

so yeah, i guess what i am trying to say is that i recommend Kurogane Communication.

how do you get to watch anime at work? o_O

I work in nuclear security in a 12 hour shift I spend 4 to 6 hours in a bomb resestant tower with a computer to kill time, so I watch anime on it.
