I'm currently up to episode 7 of Durarara!! and 14 of 40(TV)/7 of 20(DVD) of Mahou Shoujotai Arusu/Tweeny Witches:

Durarara!!: nice weirdness with creative reuse of events and footage by containing the same events from multiple PoVs.

Mahou Shoujotai Arusu: Alice's sledgehammer idealism seems to have really upset the balance of power.
They seem to be dropping some "she's leveling up so fast that by the end she'll be able to determine the balance all on her own" hints... :-| Keeping my fingers crossed it doesn't end up in "demi-god, reluctant to use his/her powers" territory...
At first the people I'm watching it with had some problems with the animation "not looking like most anime of the last 5-10 years", but it seems they're warming up to it a bit...
You said it SD Maruko-kun! Tweeny Witches has a look all it's own. Many newcomers will scoff, and pass it off as low budget and move on; but those of us who dive into Arusu's world realize that the look of Tweeny Witches is one of it's biggest charms.

It's simple-if I want to watch hentai-fine. If not I don't like porn snuck into my anime.

Maho Shoujo Tai (Tweeny Witches) is not a low budget anime-and it's one of my favorites!!

PHI-BRAIN: The Puzzle of God ( Season 1, collection 1 )

Well, Iíve ended my viewing of this one sad to say, I didn't even make it through disc 1 ... frown

Iíve seen the same characters, character/comedic interactions in other Anime that had me from Minute 1.
But sadly this one did not, well to be honest it did at first, but by the time Galileo showed up
it turned into something other than what I thought I was going to be watching
( like I said: same ( old ) characters, character/comedic interactions, etc, etc... )
It just wasnĎt going to jive with me this time, not with this Anime..

Donít get me wrong, Iím sure itís a good Anime, and itíll get lots of good reviews.
But the whole thing as a whole, it just wasnít going to happen for me this time.

Iíll have to remember to cancel my pre-order of collection 2.

*As soon as Naoki Takeda ( voiced by Luci Christian ) started popping Kaito Daimon upside the head with roundhouses,
all I could hear coming out of Kaito Daimon mouth was "that voice" that Greg Ayres voice, I kid you not*
( of course he doesnít do Kaito Daimonís voice Daivd Wald, I just hear that voice Greg does)

Up to volume 6 of Battle Athletes Victory.
Looks like there is a new "threat" to Akari & her buddies.

The current Cosmo Beauty herself, who takes on 3 people by herself and trounces them.

BTW that one teammate of Jessie with pink hair and goggle glasses is kinda obviously that Chinese girl in disguise.
Also I thought that Chris is really a guy in the OVA? (read a bit on Wikipedia by accident).

As usual Akari is pretty "down" often, and then suddenly she just gets the "inspiration" (usually from an outside source/memory) to just smoke the competition. Tanya was her latest victim, so it's kinda sad to see her go (she is such a fun character).

Inu X Boku-just got it today-never saw it before but the 2 episodes I've seen so far were pretty damn good.

Shana III continues to impress. I just wrapped up part 1 and I must say that I am thoroughly impressed with this series. Thank you again Funimation for bringing this series to me. BTW I think Shana-tan should get her own anime.

Finished watching Canaan. It started really strong, awesome, & fun,.. But somewhere near the middle and end it became convoluted and uninteresting. I've placed it in my "to sell" pile, right next to Rurouni Kenshin: New Kyoto Arc (which I can't recall whether or not I shared an opinion with y'all on already or not,.. Suffice to say: it is horribly boring crap).
I started watching Urotsukidoji. I'm one disk in. So far it isn't as interesting as the manga. I'll keep it either way, but it's kinda borderline.
Once I finish Urotsukidoji, I'll be diving into Phi Brain, which I think looks like a really cool premise. I've been interested in it for a while.
My inu X Boku hasn't arrived yet frown

I thought Cannan ended well, but like you said in the middle it was kinda dull.
