Well, since Lucky Star was delayed in delivery, I've started Agent Akia and Divergence Eve. Despite my general enjoyment of fan service, Divergence Eve is a bit over the top. (pun intended) whistle

Agent Aika is just good clean ecchi fun. same with Najica, which i enjoyed even more. i haven't watched any Divergence Eve so i can't speak for it.

Divergence Eve wasn't terrible. I did actually enjoy the first season... I didn't enjoy it much but it was decent for what it was. I can't comment on the second season though.

I've just started on the second season of Divergence EVE, and it has a feel more like the last few episodes of EVA but with more comedy, and fan service. I'm going to start disk 2 when I finish making my rounds on the internet. So far it is looking like they may make something intellectual of the second season.

otakuden,
I picked up Agent Akia because I liked Najica. I was a little worried when the fan service count didn't come a fast as it did in the firs episode of Najica, but it seems to keep a much steadier pace. But who can forget an army of mini-skirt clad maids with guns? And surprisingly the sound track for Najica was very good; though I am a fan of the big band style music anyway.

Here's hoping I get Lucky (Star) from the Mail Man today.

Same here. D.E. wasn't all that bad. The first time i watched it, i didn't realize that the first ep or two was out of sequence. Once past that it moves fairly well. As for the second seaon, it picks right up where the first left off and moves right along with the story.

I am getting rather annoyed at buying dvds just to have the company decide to not finish what they started, ie Saiunkoku, so I am using Netflix. Nice service and tons of titles. Desert Punk, a bit funny but would like the story the get ob with it. There has to be some reason for this. crazy

Just finished watching clannad, I've also started rewatching Gun x Sword for the 4th time, in my opinion a really underrated show, hoping for a second season or ova or movie but i doubt it. gone the way of outlaw star i guess

Right now I'm working on Emma, Rose of Versailles, Ranma 1/2 and (to a lesser degree now) Touch. I just haven't had much time for any, though. frown

the music in Najica kicks much good pantied butt. i have the import cd soundtrack and it is fabulous. i really enjoyed Najica, and it is mild considering Aika and others when it comes to panty shots. it's like old-school film noire meets light Japanese B-cheese and runs with it to great success, imo. good story. good characters. good plot and ending. and good music. all win-wins in my book smile

divergence eve would be a series i'd borrow from someone to watch before i decided if i wanted to spend me money on it.
