One disc left of Kannazuki No Miko. Already it's brought tears to my eyes. Its got one weird love triangle between the 3 main characters Himeko, Chikane, and Souma. ?_? Anyone that likes a good drama/action anime will greatly enjoy this if they don't already have it smile.

KnM is great. i am so glad you are enjoying it. the ending is excellent and everyone ends up happy, imo.
[edit: that's what i get for not reading the posts already down to the end. yes, i've seen KnM, a couple times. once as a fansub, and then again after i bought the DVD boxset. if you liked KnM, also check out Yami to Boshi no Hon no Tabibito and Maria-sama (if you don't have it on preorder)]

Grave of the Fireflies ia s Studio Ghibli movie that premiered in 1988 in a doube-billing with Tonori no Totoro. it is a beautifully heart-wrenching tale of two children who were innocent victims of the horrors of WWII. must-see viewing for anyone and everyone, anime fan or now.

it's been my mantra the last 13 years and will be until they bury my body in the ground.

Godanner is AWESOME!!! so many twists and turns and plot developments i did not expect. and they were GOOD.
The Third is excellent. i have mixed feelings on the ending, but i can understand the why. tis that great cosmic/religious/philosophical question after all.

Minami-ke i really don't have any interest in. what are your thoughts?

righton!!! gonna have to change my avatar to Priss when i get online at home later.
BGC is a classic. 2040 was ok, but the original is still the best. also want to get my hands on the old-school cheesiness of the ADPolice OVA. i've heard horrible things about it, but i don't care. i want it laugh

Wow all this Godanner talk is making me want to finish it. Watched the 1st disc and got bored cuz I started it right after Gravion/Gravion: Zwei. Like the SAME animation style. I'll finish it after I get Ikki Tousen finished smile. Oh man, its almost shameful how many panty shots and cleavage is in this O_O.

Otakuden, KnM is now one of my favorites. I know its a "girls love" thing, but its the emotion and feelings that kept me drawn in. The mecha in this series was more of an add-on to that. laugh

Give it a shot. I was reluctant at first but wound up liking it a lot. Yes, it's a slower moving show that follows the daily lives of the Minami sisters in and out of school. As well as thier interactions with each oter and their friends at school, which brings some hysterical eps (like ep 6 "the birth of Mako-chan":D) It goes in the same vein as Azumanga Daioh and School Rumble. Since the first season is 13 eps it'll be a nice and enjoyable watch.

Now if only it would get liscensed... grin(hint, hint)

Don't listen to the talk. I enjoyed it as much as 'Bubblegum Crisis'. It's made in the same style. The only characters that crossover are Leon and his partner.
