Since I'll be ordering from rightstuf a lot more often now, I thought I'd join up. Especially considering I found 12 dollars worth of change lying around.

But since I'm a member now, I do have a question. I notice gotanime.com has a pretty sweet coupon that I could use. But I was wondering, can I use the coupon and my 10 percent off at the same time?

For the most part....you can.

If it's the '$$$ off' coupon that you wish to use, then the 10% GotAnime (GA) discount will be applied to the remaining balance of your order........after the coupon discount has already been applied.

Example:

$80 worth of eligible items....using a "$6 off $75 order" coupon and GA discount

$80 - $6 (coupon) = $74 - $7.40 (10% GA discount) =

$66.60 + s/h (if applicable)


One thing to note.....is that all of the items that you wish to count toward the minimum purchase requirement for the coupon have to be 'eligible for additional discounts'.

In other words......they can't be Weekly Specials, Bargain Bin items or anything else that has 'Not Eligible for Additional Discounts'. If you want to include such items in the same order.....then you will simply need to include other eligible items in order to use the coupon.

I really should get one, but when I looked into it a couple years ago I couldn't figure out if it was part of TRSI or if it was a 3rd party and I just didn't feel comfy giving that amount of my info to a 3rd party that I didn't know anything about.

Order the initial membership instead of the renewal. It'll still renew, and you'll get another card. The only real difference between the two items is that one includes the goodies, and one doesn't.

Thanks for the info rh, I am probably going to order one the next time I make a TRSI order now that I know for sure that it isn't a 3rd party thing. I have just been too lazy to dig into it deeper, but I am sure you guys don't mind me paying more.

Also the 7 dollars off a 97 dollar purchase coupon, can I use that with the tokyopop sale? If I order 97 dollars worth of tokyo pop books with the 40 percent sale, will I still be able to get that extra 7 dollars off?

So I go to pick up my box from rightstuf at my ‘rents yesterday that should have had my gotanime membership card. Nope, I got a "thanks for renewing your membership" notice. *confused*

Check to be sure you didn't accidentally add the renewal version to your cart. You should be good to go, less some of the goodies.
