I'll simply copy over what I had in the Lucky Penny thread I made a few days earlier and just restate that these picks are more towards Lucky Penny than Nozomi, because at this point I'm fine with a simply release. I simply just want to own these on Region 1 DVD; special-edition-style releases are a great bonus.
Ring ni Kakero 1 (Nope, I won't stop requesting this until someone actually licenses this: All fours seasons, & the 2003 pilot film & Ocean-produced English dub [whatever of they dubbed] would make really cool extras; I don't care about special packaging or first-print bonus items... I just want to watch & own this anime series on Region 1 DVD here in North America; I would easily be a true "unofficial spokesman" for this show if you guys brought this over)
Akagi (Yeah, a mahjong anime is a real long shot, but the characters & intensity of the matches simply make this title amazing, even if you know nothing about traditional mahjong)
Kaiji (A fair bit more "user-friendly" than Akagi, but just as excellent; Joost had streamed the first season back in 2008, so there is a pre-existing & official English translation for Season 1)
GaoGaiGar FINAL (TRSI has more recently returned to mecha with Nadesico & Gasaraki, but people are still waiting for this come over after Media Blasters did the impossible & brought over the TV series... Come on TRSI!)
RAINBOW ~Nisha Rokubou no Shichinin~ (This is definitely on the opposite spectrum from what TRSI usually does, but I thought TRSI liked incredible stories with memorable characters; FUNimation simulcasted it, so there's already English subs)
Naikaku Kenryoku Hanzai Kyosei Torishimarikan Zaizen Jotaro (Yeah, I highly doubt anybody will ever license this, especially because of its infamy [all because of an extremely bad first episode], but it really is a fun little show about dirty business & politics, done with a fun-to-watch main character, like Onizuka or Ryo Saeba)
Saint Seiya: The Lost Canvas (There are English subs already for it by way of CrunchyRoll, and it really is a great alternate universe take on Saint Seiya)
Kamen no Maid Guy (This really seems more like a Sentai pickup, but I can see TRSI having a fun time working on this show, as it has something for everyone)
