Finished Kigurumikku. It's only 3 episodes long and completely ridiculous. It may fall into the so-bad-it's-good category.

genre: magical girl/ecchi/comedy

It looks like a fun romp, kiku would probably dig it.

Wrapped up Hellsing Ultimate. A series that has amazing visuals yet not quite up to par pacing & a relatively crummy end. I'll keep it, but frankly I'm a tad disappointed.

Hellsing Ultimate is not complete yet. There are still two more episodes to go (still in production in Japan). Funimation already has the rights to them and the last two episodes will probably be out late next year. The ending should be killer, since they are following the manga closely and the manga has ended quite some time ago.

thank god for that bit of info. I look forward to seeing how they round it out. You know, beyond Alukard presumably just respawning & tearing everyone to pieces.

Finished up King of Thorn. Thought that it was just OK. For some reason i just couldn't get into it, even tho it reminded me of Lain meets Die Hard

Also finished up the Nadesico Movie. A pretty good follow up to the series.

Croisee In A Foreign Labyrinth

Quite simply, one of the most beautiful and touching experiences I've ever had in anime. Artfully done and enveloped in perfectly fitting music, I watched this masterpiece in two sittings. Once Yune grabs ahold of your heart, she'll never let go. I must say that I was grateful for the plethora of special features found in this set, for they were great for weaning me off of Croisee In A Foreign Labyrinth. The picture dramas were great, kinda reminded me off Paper Mario. The SD promos were fun too.

For the record, I was quite literally on the edge of my seat when Yune was on the roof of the Galerie. I didn't take my eyes off the screen for a second. I think my heart actually stopped beating for a bit. I'd be hard pressed to call this a slice of life anime, because it was so much more to me. It was a special journey filled with fantastic art and beautiful emotional weight.

I just finished up Colorful , itís really Crazy, but Funny at the same time.

Iím not sure if Itíll find a place in my Anime Collection or not.
Iíll have to think on it.

Is it worth the $2.39?
