It was another MST3K episode.
Though I think they actually showed the regular movie really late on a random channel around Christmas time last year.

(funny song from that movie)

Speaking of fun songs from movies, I always got a kick out of this one from the original The Blob.

Santa Claus Conquers the Martians is an American film shot using mostly TV technicians in an old airplane hangar on Long Island and featured a young Pia Zadora as one of the Martian children. It was also done on Mystery Science Theater 3000 as it richly deserved to be.

Santa Claus is a film made in Mexico by director Rene Cardona and is not so much "bad" as it is insane. It appears to have much higher production values, rather like the Russo-Finnish films MST3K did which were quite well made but still nutty as hell, and the English dub just adds to the fun.

Today I sent back a Blu-ray of SUCKER PUNCH to FYE,
this is the second time in a row they sent me the wrong one.
Now the one I want ( as listed on FYE ) just jumped $18 in price,
( The price had jumped since yesterday )
they said sorry we canít get it for you at the price you paid ( twice ) when you got the wrong one.

All the e-mail info shows I bought the right one twice,
the SKU numbers and all that are the same as the copy that just jumped $18.

So, I wonít be getting it from FYE.

Mine only came with 2 discs. I'm assuming that the theatrical version will play in a DVD player as well as a Blu-ray player. If it doesn't, I've still got my original DVD copy so I'm good.

This is the one I tried to get from FYE and they kept sending the wrong one

I just found one on ebay

The one you got sounds like the one FYE kept sending me,
if so they are both blu ray disc and will not play in the DVD player

The combo pack would've been cool, but I've already got the DVD version as well. The whole Blu-ray thing has me so pissed off on so many levels. Oh well, I must be like a reed in the wind; strong yet yielding. Boy... what I won't do for anime (and film). I tell ya.

Decided to order a bunch of old favorite horror/sci-fi movies from Amazon:

Curse of the Demon / Night of the Demon (2 versions of the same film-edited US version + uncut UK version)
Invisible Invaders / Journey to the Seventh Planet (a John Agar double feature-time to get my MST3K hat on)
Hello Mary Lou: Prom Night II (blood, gore, and nudity...good times)
Shock Waves (Peter Cushing and a horde of underwater Nazi zombies!)

You have eclectic tastes in horror/scifi/schlock my friend. The only one I've heard of is Prom Night.

LEGO Harry Potter Years 1-4 for the Wii (to pass the time), plus it was cheap.
