BTW are you going to pick up the new version of Destroy All Monsters & also get Godzilla vs Megalon? Both are coming out soon (October & November) from Media Blasters.

Yes, the new release of Destroy All Monsters is on my list. I have the ADV release, which is less than stellar. I also want to get Godzilla vs. Megalon as well. The films bring back a lot of memories growing up and watching these films on Saturdays.

That could be very dangerous y'know.
If you succeed; you'll have an army of otaku waiting to ambush you for your cat-girl.
If you fail; you'll have an army of otaku waiting to ambush you for mini your cat-girls.
In either case I'm so there to swi-I mean save them.
Yep... That's the ticket.

Well I wandered around a bit today to see if anything interesting was at the stores to buy, but I did not buy anything except a Godzilla comic.

Though I must say that Best Buy is almost getting ridiculous on what they charge for anime sets, cause I saw the Meister & Weapon sets of Soul Eater were about $55 each, and at Frys they were about $41 each.

Of course since my spending limit was $30, I did not get either.

Though I was tempted to ask if they match competitors prices on Strike Witches since they had the newer release for about $40, and Hastings is advertising it for about $30.

When I post in this thread I'm torn as to whether I feel like I'm bragging to friends or I like I'm talking to a support group. Hello, my name is kiku...

Anyhoo, just bought:

Ghost Hound
Noir
Madlax
Le Portrait De Petite Cossette
Witch Hunter Robin

Itís okay kiku you are not alone, weíre all in this together.
We're here to help each other through these trying times and new anime purchases grin

Those are all good Animes, I couldn't tell you which one to watch frist!

The darkest one would be, hm,well it's a toss up between Le Portrait De Petite Cossette and Ghost Hound
It's been a while since I saw Le Portrait De Petite Cossette and I recently saw Ghost Hound.
I think Le Portrait De Petite Cossette is darker.
The lighest one of this bunch would be MADLAX.

Those are all entiertaining shows, so you'll get your money's worth. Here's how I rank them.

Noir
Witch Hunter Robin
Le Portrait De Petite Cossette
Madlax
Ghost Hound

Madlax is sort of an "anime parts kit." There's a lot of cool stuff there that would make for a top ten anime series, but it feels like it was pieced together wrong, with a few parts missing. It doesn't fully realize its potential, but even so, it's a fun watch. Opinions vary, though.
