Dear RightStuf!

I was checking out Rightstuff and found 2 versions of Banner of the Stars II DVD:

The first one is "Anime Legends" edition that has been released in 2006 and has running time of 275min, the second is the "normal" Complete Edition that has been released in 2004, however that one has 325min running time. They both are Banner of the Stars II, but the older has an extra 50 min according to rightstuf product page.

Could you please tell me what is the extra 50 min on the older (and a bit more expensive) version? Or is it just a typo? Or is the "Hiroyuki Morioka Interview" 50 min?

it includes the OVA episode "Passage of the Stars", about Lafiel's Parents.
( don’t worry about what the time length says )

This is the Anime that got me into being an Anime Fan, it is one of my Top Three ALL-TIME Favorites.

The older one has the OVA too.

If the older one didnt have the ova, than the difference would be 75 min, not 50

Banner of the Stars III is about ~54 min long, any chance that the 50 min could be that? Or is it just a typo or is it just 50 min of extra (like interview)?

We checked into the details, and both Banner of the Stars II sets are actually 325 minutes.

Okay, but 10 regular Half hour ( 23-25 minutes long ) plus one OVA the same length
as a standard half hour episodes works out to be 275 minutes all day long
( at 25 minute per episode average )
As opposed to 325 minutes as you say.
(Even the other Sites say 275)

But in the end, all that is really neither here nor there.

Just for future reference, Bandai doesn't re-encode their discs like Funimation and Neo ADV (Sentai, ADV) do. They use the same discs across the board. In other words, the two versions have the same discs just different packaging and price.

Whell, I made the order for all 3 seasons. I asked for a "small" delay in shipping, hopefully all goes well with my first RighStuf order.
