Shana S2 arrived yesterday, including customs fees, so Rightstuf's nice "it's the holiday season, so let's do partial shipments" gesture ended up making that one order about $16 more expensive for me.

(because of the flat per-package part of the customs fees)
I guess I'll contact Rightstuf to change my special instructions from "do not combine orders, please" to "do not combine or split orders, please"...
What were Funimation thinking when they created the packaging for Shana S2?..
"OK, we put part1 LE in a Blu-Ray-sized box, then put part2 in a Blu-Ray case with cardboard "make it DVD case size" sleeve around it".
So if I want to add part2 into the box, I either have to store the sleeve elsewhere or throw it away. (I'll probably end up storing it as-is: a half-filled box and a seperate, sleeved part 2...

)
Fortunately Shana S3 seems to have a "regular edition" option for its part1, so I can avoid this annoyance.
Making half-season sets when you release both at the same time is a bit silly to me anyway; feels like a trick to try to get people to not realize that the whole season costs ~$80...
