Stay on target...the first 3 are my final answer..for now.

I owe a great debt to the manga as it enlightened me as to the sheer volume of information that can be conveyed in a single image by a genuinely awesome mangaka. The conveyance of very subtle expressions and body language in Genshiken were incredible. As for Kare Kano, I make no apologies for having diverse tastes.

Don't get mistaken, i loved the Genshiken manga but i liked the anime a bit more. Now take into account that 99% of the manga i read i feel is better than the anime and you see this is a rare circumstance. Kare Kano, still is meh in both cases. The art is generic and fights are dumb. You really think so? As for the art i'll admit it does lack the detail present in Berserk, but Berserk's art is (to me at least) very....ummm...coarse. I'm no art professor as you can see but it seems very stylistic to me. Either way i don't think Claymore's art was bad, just not quite as good. Mediocre.
