Look at the pretty new site!!

Alison, I really mean this. That site is quiet possibly one of the best show sites I have ever been to. The layout and navigation is like nothing I have ever seen before and once I finally figured out that I needed to flip the cards over it was fun to explore around. You, right stuf, have really outdone yourself with this one.

Is this totally java? If so what engine did you use to build it because I have never seen anything like it before and still retain image details and quality.

It's all done in Flash. Eric, the other web designer here at Right Stuf, worked really hard on in so I'm glad you like it! It is quite a fantastic site and it does a great job of showcasing some of the beautiful ARIA artwork

Why yes it is, because my x64 IE is not a fan of it. I really wish adobe would fix that already. ANY WAY, Eric did a wonderful job on it. He needs a pat on the back

That is a fun site to play in LOL . Yeah, it is well thought out too. Is it possible for you to get higher resolution backgrounds? I run on 1680x1050, and I don't really like stretching wallpapers.

Oh just a heads up, in the extras, the icons for Akatsuki and Ai are switched. If you click on Akatsuki, you get Ai's icons and vise versa.

I appreciate seeing the comments from you and everyone else. I've been a little behind on keeping up on all the forums, so the mistake you mentioned wasn't fixed until today. It should be OK now though.

since i started watching my boxset last night, i would also like to second the need for more merchandise. watched dvd 1 after watching the first Scorpion Prisoner 701 movie (loved it!). what does that have to do with merchandise, you wonder?

This is my first post. I like the functionality of the Aria site. I do have a question. I have recently purchased the first offering of this show. I wanted to know what is peoples view on the character "President"?

The site is great! I have only purchased and viewed the first box set of Aria. The artwork blows me away!!

I haven't been able to quite embrace the storyline nor President yet. I'm undecided about the other 2 box sets.

I'm new to these forums also. Does anyone relate to what I speak of? Or am I off beat here?

ummmmm, Aria is one of those shows that you either gush over it or you are just unimpressed.

Yes the story is...... well let’s face it there isn't much story. It is a "slice of life" anime. It technically isn't, but it is about as close as you are going to get to any category. So if you don't like that type, then you are automatically going to have a hard time getting into it.

The... IDEA of president aria is rather odd. But once you get into it you can really warm up to him. He doesn’t really DO anything; he is more of a mascot or good luck charm. So if you try and view him that way he is easy to accept.

The area that Aria REALLY shines is in the art work. And the fact that if you look at the backgrounds, you can actually see those places in real life. They are spot on reproductions.

Another area that I enjoy about Aria is the calming factor it possesses. There have been times when I was just really worked up from a bad day, came home popped on some Aria and was able to relax really fast.

So the premium item for part I turned out to be a rubbery-plasticy figure of President Aria. And the item for part II turned out to be some sort of construct-your-own papercraft model of a gondola. Any comments on how much skill is required to actually construct the model?

Well, I found scans of the Hemia set last year and attempted to make it. I failed. But that was just normal paper and it didn't cut out well or hold its shape very easy. I have not opened up this set yet; my collector is getting the better of me. But I would think that this would be a bit easier because it is heavier paper. But it is also quiet a bit smaller so I don't know. But let me tell you man, when I found out that it was the paper craft that we were getting I was REALLY happy. I actually requested it some time back when I was trying to build up the scan that I had.

So...Aria The Animation and now Aria The Natural have been released. Are we going to see a pre-order date for Aria the Origination/Arietta soon?

Even though it has a happy ending the final episode of Origination will make you cry. Boo Hoo.

I was referring to the last batch of lithographs that RS previously sold, Gunslinger Girl, Afro Samuri, and several others. I was just wondering if these would be autographed as well.

I clicked on the link to see about the voting on the lithographs and all it did was send me back. Did i miss something or is there going to be a dedicated link for them, or sometheing else?(First day for deciding too!)

No autographs on these. We wanted to keep them affordable.
