Thank you, gentlemen. That's 3 votes for Solty Rei, and 0 for anything else. Since kiku was kind enough to point out (on another thread) that the Shakugan no Shana movie and OVA are now available for pre-order, I guess I'll put in an order for those and Solty Rei. Thanks again. Edit: Hm. I was just considering this one: http://www.animenewsnetwork.com/review/shangri-la/dvd-parts-1 Shangri-la was a Hoot

You said it joelgundam01! Solty Rei's definitely a "little gem". BTW it's also a member of the Viridian Collection. I've been told that the Viridian Collection is a discount series much like the S.A.V.E. Edition series, but I've always thought it more akin to the Criterion Collection; representative of excellence and importance in film... or anime in Viridian's case.
As far as Shangri-La goes; I've got it in my "unwatched pile" and have talked to two people that have already watched it, and they both loved it.

BTW the SAVE edition of Solty Rei is basically the Viridian Collection with a sticker thrown on the packaging. It's like that for Pumpkin Scissors, Gankutsou & Heat Guy J as well. Moon Phase did it as well for the first SAVE, but the more recent is in the usual single DVD case with an ugly green spine.

But you can remove the case insert and reverse it and get rid of that fugly green spine strip.

Yeah, I forgot to mention that. I have done so on the ones I own. Such as Beck, Girls Bravo, Heroic Age, & Kuraru Phantom Memory.
