That's why I stuck with the DVD portion of Netflix (subtitle issue).

BTW there was one kinda cool thing about Fist of the North Star (I would guess it was the live action version you were talking about). It has Leon White (AKA Vader of WCW/WWF fame, whom the game Fatal Fury based Big Bear on).

Alrighty, I watched the entire Lord of the Rings Trilogy ( Extended Edition ) today.
I even had time for a couple of trips to the RightStuf Forum.

I need to marathon LOTR trilogy. Haven't done it since watching it with my college buddies after finals.

No Holds Barred.

Pretty silly movie with the usual '80s cliches, though I think it was from the '90s.
Evil corporate bad guy: check
Huge bodyguard/trained muscle: check
Kid brother gets beat up: check
Cute girl (who works for the bad guy) falls for the good guy: check
Ridiculous theme song at the end: CHECK

Though for some reason only the bad guy had a training montage...

It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and Hogan is rather funny at times.
It does feature some other pro wrestlers in small roles.
Probably the best one was Stan Hansen as a bar tough guy.

If you enjoy silly '80s type movies, you will get a kick out of this.
At least it's way better than Mr. Nanny...or Suburban Commando.

Batman The Dark Knight Returns Part 1
Based on the famous Frank Miller graphic novel of the same name.
It's a pretty decent adaptation with good voices, and an obviously good storyline.

This was via Netflix DVD rental service & will be getting part 2 as soon as it comes out (have it saved).

If you like Batman, you will like this one.
Of course it helped that the first part was a bit focused on Harvey "Two Face" Dent.

Boy, must be a slow time for non-anime viewing...

I rented (via Redbox) Hotel Transylvania & Looper.

Hotel Transylvania was very cute, funny, and heartwarming.
Now I am not really a fan of Adam Sandler, but he was very good in this one.
It has a kinda Shrek-like ending with a big musical number at the end.
I suggest you check this one out ASAP, it's a good one.

Looper was a decent Sci-Fi movie with some twists & turns caused by the usual time travel stuff.
I won't spoil the ending, but it was pretty M. Night Shaylaman (what a tweest).
I say a rental at best, though there are some rather nice women involved...

M. Night and decent? I think you are being a little too kind to this movie. I haven't seen it but comparing it to a M. Night movie isn't a good sign.

Recently watched all of the X-Men films short of the one taking place in the 70s. Good movies. Better than I remember them being upon first viewing. ..or maybe I just have reasonable expectations for rewatching films.

Shaylaman when filtered by good writing is very decent.
Remember he is the guy who directed Unbreakable & The Sixth Sense.
