Heyyyy, can I request that ya'll try to help me find a film for a reasonable price?
The film that I want is Otakus In Love. The film looks like something that I could really enjoy. I've found the film available at YesAsia for 37.49, but that seems a tad high to me.
I'm placing a pretty big order right now over at HKFlix (I love them for live action imports). The order includes: Party 7, Screwed, Shark Skin Man & Peach Hip Hirl, Vital, The Neighbor No.13, Puzzle Of God, We're Going To Eat You, Jam Films Vol.1 (I already have Jam Films Vol.2 & I highly recommend it), & Ashura.
Yeah, I know, plenty of these films look to be crap. Haha. ..Whether it be due to an actor that I have a strong interest in, a director, or just find the film to appear "fascinating & unique" (if not just strangely peculiar, thus interesting), I find myself rather attracted to the idea of seeing these films. ..To be honest with myself, perhaps Screwed the least so.

Anyhoo, if nobody has any good ideas by tonight, I'm just going to place the order at YesAsia. ..Otakus In Love looks like an awful lot of fun.
PS: For the offered links to reviews, the review for Party 7 was the most difficult to find. Most reviews were either negative with no real explanation or just too short. The review I offered seems to be pretty honest about some of the film's pitfalls. I hope that being aware of the problem will allow me to enjoy the film more due to know what not to expect. wink ...& I just can't really find any review for Puzzle Of God at all.

thanks for the help, guys! (sarcastic,... but not in a nasty way. ... joking) laugh

Sooo... anyone know if Cine East is a trustworthy site to do business through?
They have Otakus In Love for 15 bucks. ..which is great. ..But then I also see that they have Tetsuo The Iron Man marked as available & with a certain cover art that I'm quite positive is very OOP.
I'd really like to get a thumbs up from someone before I move forward.

I got Azumi 2 the other day after about 3 months of back order waiting.
Its a great movie not as good as the first but still really good.
And it has that one girl in it that played GoGo from Kill Bill vol.1.

I agree. The second Azumi wasn't bad but it just seemed to not have the same feel as the first one did.

Shark Skin Man & Peach Hip Girl = Quite a bit of fun. I enjoyed this.
Screwed = Started off alright but quickly got a tad too artsy/unintelligible/crappy.

Well, if you're into Samurai/feudal Japan stuff, anything by Akira Kurosawa(like The Seven Samurai, for example) is good. Also, Lone Wolf and Cub is very good.

Anyone going to check out the new Ichi film by Fumihiko Sori?
I just got the email from Funimation that they are bringing it here to the US. Sadly the closest place to me is DC, so I'll probably have to wait for a DVD/BluRay release.

For the record, I'm a big Zatoichi fan and would recommend the original TV series or the film from 2003 by Takeshi Kitano.
