Densha Otoko?
Very Good!!!!

I must admit, while I own both the movie & the miniseries, I can only remember having watched the miniseries. I found it to be be both moving & quite funny. smile

I just made an import order of what promises to perhaps be the greatest film on earth.
Survive Style 5+ - http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7yN7DfMAzcQ&feature=related

I also placed an order for a new upconverting all region player/bluray player. My present all region DVD player is fine & all, it's just that, with my 52incher, I've come to be rather distracted by the poor quality that I see on non upconverted DVDs. My PS3 upscales all R1 DVDs & I love the way they look. I could have gone with a cheaper upscaling all region player, but I figured that having it also be an all region bluray player would be pretty nifty bonus.

(Is it ok to link to an outside store if the link is to an item & type of product not available through RightStuf? ...Hardware..)

Edit Reason: also my new player.

After a release date push back or two, Tokyo Zombie has finally shipped & is coming my way. I quite honestly could not be more excited.

While Tokyo Zombie absolutely does have its own charm, it didn't quite meet my high expectations. smile I'm still very anxious for Survive Style 5+ to arrive.

I got a handful of Dragon Dynasty movies over the weekend...

Dynamite Warrior (Watched)
The Rebel
Ashes of Time
Invisible Target (Watched)

The two i have watched were pretty good Dynamite Warrior i found extremely funny for some reason.
Invisible Target was a cop drama with humor and alot of twists of who was on who's side.

I don't know if this counts on this thread, but I just finished watching the J-Drama called Nobuta Wo Produce.

If you wanna find out about it here's a link about it on Wikipedia.

Ah, so that's what it's about. From the title, I thought it was about fruits and vegetables.

Just watched Linda, Linda, Linda. A nice little film that at times reminded me of a reality show because of the way it was filmed. I have noticed that I have liked the past couple of Japanese made films better than any thing American I've watched lately. Though a little predictable, this movie had a lot of heart and soul. It made you care about the characters and was played out fairly realisticly.
