I realy wish they would dub all their titles. And if there is profit concerns, if they don't think they can turn a profit by having an english dub Don't Licence it.
And then what, ignore many quality titles and instead potentially get into bidding wars against those with bigger wallets like FUNimation over licensing other shows?
Really, the whole "If it's not going to be dubbed then don't license it" argument is the stupidest and most selfish argument I have ever seen anime fans use... Just because you won't buy it then no one should be able to? That would be like me saying that since Nozomi hasn't licensed Ring ni Kakero 1, the one anime I would love to see licensed more than anything else, then they shouldn't license other shows or at least I personally shouldn't buy their releases. It gets no one nowhere and doesn't help anyone.
Am I annoyed that the one show that I want to see licensed more than anything else hasn't been licensed yet? Yeah, but it's not going to make me avoid buying anime or give unhelpful advice to the people who are bringing these shows over. If it's not going to sell enough to make a dub worth doing then a sub-only release is better than no release at all.
Nozomi used to say that it might happen one day, but now they know that it's better to be honest and not give false hopes if they can't give it a dub. We're getting Utena complete with its original dub, so buy that then.
