How can you call your self an anime fan?
Pointless Rule 4,382:
An anime fan must always have a stack of backlog as big as they are tall.
So sayth the rules! MWA HAHAHAHAHAHA-cough, hack hack
crazy

But seriously, kudos to you for keeping it in check.:D

I always made it a priority to watch/read the title as soon as I get it. At most I might have a backlog for a couple of weeks, but it's cleared out in no time.

Now, video games is a different story.

I still have anime, live-action film, manga, non-fiction book, AND video game backlogs... not to mention I need to do some laundry tonight, and scrub the bathroom sinks, and some of my weapons are due for a cleaning. How do people find time to raise families? wink

Ditto. My manga backlog is still around a 100 volumes and I don't even know about anime. I am afraid to calculate. I also have a small library of books that need my attention. At least my live-action backlog is small. Between work, yardwork and giving time to my girlfriend, I don't know if I'll ever get even. And here I am thinking about getting back into making models. I must be a glutton for punishment.

so... Should I talk about preorders here?
I just placed an order for:
Full Metal Panic (BD)
Full Metal Panic: FUMOFFU (BD)
Eden Of The East (BD)
Urotsukidoji: The Movie (BD/DVD)
Urotsukidoji: first series (DVD)
Bleach (set 6) (DVD)

I'm pretty anxious to watch Eden Of The East.

I've read very little about it, but considering that it's a hybrid, on Blu-ray, and has a 17+ rating, I might have to buy it on general principle.

do it!

I was doing some random web browsing and came across Corpse Princess. The series looks very promising. A Gainax series being released by FUNimation, a perfect combo! .. but presently the series only has preorder option for DVD. I want, nay demand bluray! Make it happen FUNimation! Don't force me into heavily considering purchasing the same title twice (again)

I've been kind of juggling a few options over the past few days, and I swear if I stumble across one more awesome deal before I make a decision (since I can only afford one at the moment), I will... I dunno. Be very upset. ^^;

Amazon's got an amazing sale going on at the moment, which tempted me to pick up Baccano!, originally. The following day or so, I found Collections 1 & 2 of Red Garden on RightStuf for pretty cheap, so I've been tempted to grab those. And then I realized that the only volume of Eureka Seven I'm missing has virtually vanished from the internet (and stores), but I've found a possibility of obtaining it (albeit for more money than I'd normally like to pay for it), so my mind is currently set on just getting that out of the way.

But other than that stuff, I've actually got a sort of RightStuf wishlist via bookmarks. ^^; At the moment, this is what's on it (although there's more that I've simply chosen to omit for the time being):
-- Baccano!
-- Black Lagoon (1-2 boxes)
-- Bleach (1-3 boxes)
-- Casshern Sins (1-2 BD boxes)
-- Cowboy Bebop Remix
-- Darker Than Black
-- Death Note (1-2 boxes)
-- Eden of the East (BD)
-- Elfen Lied
-- FMA: Brotherhood (1-2 BD boxes)
-- Ghost in the Shell 2: Innocence (Limited edition DVD)
-- Last Exile
-- Red Garden (1-2 boxes)
-- Spice and Wolf
-- Texhnolyze (1-6 DVD's)
-- Welcome to the NHK!
-- Wolf's Rain

I wish Right Stuf store's shopping bag would keep items for more than a given day! Sometimes I shop for items and I'll want to maybe push off actually ordering them until I'm completely ready & am not still perhaps going to toss more atop the same s/h charge.

I also wish that it were easy to look at all incomplete /unavailable /preorder seperate orders in a fashion that would allow one to combine and adjust orders with ease.

The last desire is only because I literally will make preorders months in advance at times. (not to say that I expect such a luxury, heck, amazon doesn't even offer such a comfort, not without a fair amount of hassle anyways..
