i don't do cheap, but i also don't want to go broke over my camera. i'd also like to still be able to us emy memory cards. gonna look are more high-end Sony camers. bang-for-buck, i've been happiest with over the years.

yeah, i know. though my camera now is much better about that then my last one. next year, i take the DSLR plunge and shell out the dough. no more "hipster" cameras. strap wll be required smile


What's a Hipster camera?

I use film cameras exclusively.

Digital cameras all the way, lots easier to use. Even tho I didn't take a single pic at AWA frown to afraid to ask for any.

Use what you want, it's all good. I went out taking foliage landscapes today with a camera made in 1937 (I like the larger film of Medium Format.)

At cons though, people are dressed up TO get their photo taken. Just ask and they will be more than happy to pose. If they say no, be respectful and move along. No one will call the cops, don't worry. wink

a hipster camera is the more compact digital cameras that i can fit in a carrying case which fits on my belt. since it's on my belt i can "shoot from the hip" so to speak whenever i need to wink

Didn't use a hipster camera or shoot from the hip (in fact my photography needs improvement) but I saw an Emma at Anime Boston
