Anime Madness Is HERE!

In the hard-hitting world of anime and manga, only one title can reign supreme. We are pleased to announce Right Stuf’s first annual Anime Madness Tournament, where YOU get to decide which release has what it takes to be crowned champion! There is a lot of tough competition this year as brand-new limited edition releases take on fan-favorite titles!

We’ve asked 16 of the top anime and manga publishers to each submit two titles to compete in the tournament. When voting starts on March 24, you’ll be able to vote for which anime or manga release you like best in each of the initial 16 match-ups. After we’ve tallied up those votes, the victors will advance to the next round and voting will continue until eventually we make it to the FINAL ROUND where the WINNER will be determined!

But what kind of tournament would this be without prizes? Prizes like Wagnaria!!2 Premium EditionJin-Roh: The Wolf BrigadeRevolutionary Girl Utena, autographed K posters and more! How can you enter to win? Easy! Download this blank bracket form in either pdf or jpg format, fill it out with your name and picks to win each match, and send it to animeclubs@rightstuf.com before midnight central time March 23. Then, vote for your favorites during each round!

If the program you are using to view the bracket PDF does not allow you to edit or save text fields, we suggest using Foxit Reader, a free and secure PDF reader that allows saving.

Check out our Anime Madness website for more coverage as the tournament goes on!

Contest Rules

To be eligible to win, your bracket must be completely filled out and emailed to animeclubs@rightstuf.com before March 23, 11:59 pm Central. When sending in brackets title your email with “Your Name – Anime Madness.” Only one entry is allowed per person.

The top-scoring brackets will be determined via a point system. Each correctly predicted match-up is worth a certain number of points depending on the round, with up to 16 points available each round and 80 points possible in total.

Points are awarded as follows:

First round: 1 point per correct match-up
Second round: 2 points per correct match-up
Third round: 4 points per correct match-up
Fourth round: 8 points per correct match-up
Championship round: 16 points

When the tournament is over, the bracket with the top score will win! If more than one entry is tied for the top score, the winner will be selected randomly from the top-scoring brackets.

To be eligible for these prizes, your bracket MUST choose either Mobile Suit Gundam: The Origin or Chi’s Sweet Home as the winner of the Anime Madness Championship. If a Vertical title makes the Sweet Sixteen, 16 winners will each receive a set of the 2-volume Sickness Unto Death series.

If a Vertical title makes it to the Great Eight, 8 winners each receive a complete Buddha paperback manga set. (8 volumes!)

If a Vertical title makes it to the Final Four, 4 winners will each receive a 5-volume Gundam: The Origin set.
