Right Stuf's Nozomi Entertainment announced the Rental Magica Part 2 DVD Collection will be released on April 6, 2010. This new set will offer the series’ remaining 12 episodes in both “broadcast order,” as seen on Japanese television (and on the Japanese DVD release), and “chronological order,” according to the timeline presented in the novels upon which the series was based. Additionally, the box set will include a book featuring well over 100 pages of background information about the series and its mythology. You can catch up with the Astral organization's supernatural adventures in Rental Magica Part 1, which is available now and includes a 128-page book with cast interviews, a director's commentary, and background on the series' mythology. Section23 announced its March 2010 release slate, including the new licenses Yozakura Quartet and Tayutama: Kiss on My Deity, continuing installments of previously announced shows such as You're Under Arrest: Full Throttle DVD Collection 1 and Neo Angelique Abyss Season 2, and live-action releases from Switchblade Pictures. Also, Buena Vista/Disney's two-disc re-issues of Castle in the Sky, Kiki's Delivery Service, and My Neighbor Totoro are also now up for pre-order.

FUNimation's March 2010 Releases Up for Pre-Order, More Lowered SRPs

FUNimation announced its March 2010 release schedule,which includes highly anticipated titles such as the Neon Genesis Evangelion 1.1 movie (Blu-ray and DVD S.E.), Slayers Revolution (season 4) and Strike Witches on DVD, the Darker Than Black DVD box set, Blu-ray releases for Nabari no Ou, Ouran High School Host Club and Gunslinger Girl: Il Teatrino, and much more. Also, it announced lower SRPs for the following upcoming titles: The Familiar of Zero DVD Series 1 (new SRP: $14.98) , Gunslinger Girl Season 1 Blu-ray Collection (new SRP: $49.98), and the Case Closed Season 3 DVD Box Set (Viridian) (new SRP: $29.98). All pre-orders will be adjusted to reflect these changes.
