ANIME TODAY #120: The Baking Event with KYOTOFU, Nicole Bermensolo and Antique Bakery!Posted on: Thursday, February 17, 2011
Today’s Event is Baking! In conjunction with the series site update for our upcoming DVD release of the Antique Bakery anime, Christy snagged a great phone interview with Nichole Bermensolo, Owner of the Japanese Dessert Bar & Bakery called Kyotofu. Both parts of this interview are also transcribed “In the Cafe” section at antique.rightstuf.com.
Between the two audio portions of Nicole’s interview, I’ll be joined by Alison and Christy for a round table discussion of the Antique Bakery series, plus an insight into the future content coming very soon to the series site.
Additional ingrediants to this Baking Event are provided by the generosity of the great people at JapanFiles.com and their ever-expanding catalog of Japanese music. Throughout the show, I’ll be sampling from the tracks “SAUCE OF LUNCH” by tokyo pinsalocks and “strawberry moon” by L’aspirine. I’ll also be featuring a sugary-sweet, full-length track from the artist Aya Tanaka called “Chocolate Fighter.” Each track, plus many, many more, are available individually for 99 cents at JapanFiles.com.
From now through February 28, rock out with savings on Blu-ray, DVDs, CDs, books and more from Bandai Entertainment – including both hot new releases and fan favorites, such as K-On!, Gundam, Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, Code Geass, The Girl Who Leapt Through Time, Gurren Lagann, 5 Centimeters Per Second and much more!
As for contests, from now until March 2, K-Drama fans have the chance to win “I Love K-Drama” gift packs, which include mini-tote bags, and both posters and screeners for Celebrity Sweetheart, City Hall, Piano, and Terroir.
