AX Aftermath: FUNimation Titles Formerly Released by ADV Films

One of the big pieces of news to come out of Anime Expo was the announcement that about 30 properties that had been either completely or partially released by ADV Films will now be distributed and released by FUNimation. We are expecting to receive details about the release plans for these titles shortly. In the meantime, we have adjusted the release dates for products that were on "pre-order" status to a placeholder date of "12/12/12." Once FUNimation officially announces the release dates for these items -- plus the other affected items that are currently listed as "on order" -- we will automatically migrate all pre-orders and orders for these items to the new, FUNimation item numbers/SKUs. Fans will be extremely happy to learn that Funimation announced at their Anime Expo panel that they have completed a deal with Geneon to distribute of a number of their titles - including Hellsing Ultimate and Nanoha!
