lonnie - Apr 29 2001 lonnielongs@core.com Rating: Pretty good! very cute I and my daughters really liked it I like this kind of fun anime, it's cute and well done I was only able to get it in english so that kind of sucked but other than that it was ( totemo kawai) I would recommend it for the kids it wasn't to violent and it had some funny parts not for the ultimate anime fan but if your just looking for something to watch this ain't bad. I just hope they are going to finish it. or maybe they already have anyone who watches anime knows how these things work sometimes. I give it 2 stars. Twin Signal is a rather amusing story about a bishounen robot named Signal, and his regular life in the Otoi household. Sadly, if you're at all familar with the manga, this OVA only deals with the Pulse saga and thus not a lot of the robots are actually shown (three are shown, versus the massive amounts of bishounen and bishoujo you get in the actual comics). As such, no one will blame you for thinking the introduction of the show is superior to the actual meat. Otherwise, it's very entertaining, and quite funny. The animation is of excellent quality, and the music is catchy. Again, it's disappointing in that this is the only installment you'll ever get (there was a LOT of potential here, should they have decided to continue on with the actual gigantic story that makes Twin Signal so popular in Japan), but on the other hand, it's great to finally have something! Ignoring the huge potential of the series, the OVA stands well on its own and is worth a look from any fan of entertaining animation. Nellie King - Mar 28 2003 Rating: Pretty good! Loved it! It may be a short tale, but well worth it! I wish there were more episodes or another movie... but this does manage to stand alone! I highly reccomend this piece! The art, the plot, the characters!! And Signal's other self, Mini, is SOOOOOOOOO adorible!! I just wanna hugs him!!! If they ever brought over the manga, I'd be in line to snatch it up. Kylie V. Corley - Oct 18 2004 babyblued127@aol.com Rating: Wonderful! Chocolate, I want chocolate I love this anime. I have rewatched it many times!!! My cousins even loved it. They kept on repeating "me want chocolate" This is about a boy who has a robot calles signal. And when he ws being programmed the boy sneezed, so now when the boy sneezes, Signal turns into a mini form. This also has some funny things to it. Its not really as big of a fight as a good vs evil fight but its great for its storyline. It has good graphics for when it was made and cool music. The previews show actually how cool it is. The only thing about it is that its too short. The series just ends and it makes you want more. It also leaves you with questions. Other than that it is a great anime. I recommend it, and also recommend you buy it sort of cheap since it is so short. Its an anime for all ages so it might make a god gift for your little cousin that might like anime. I rate this anime a 10/10 |
