This series is so great I wish they made more episodes!!!! I LOVE this particular anime and I sincerely wish for the creator(s) to make and animate more of this series! It's too good to just let it dies like this! VIVA GESTALT! Master Z - Nov 30 2005 Rating: "Okay." Decent but short As a 2 part OVA anime Gestalt leaves those who view it wanting more. Targeted towards fans of Slayers and Record of Lodoss War, Gestalt offers an interesting beginning to what potentially could have been an epic story but falls short much to my disappointment. Don't get me wrong there is much to be had with Gestalt; good character animation, dazzling magic attacks, and a fair amount of humor, complete with jokes only those familiar with rpgs will understand. All in all 2 OVAs is a little too short for a good fantasy anime. There are better fantasy series out there, namely Orphen and Record of Lodoss War OVAs. |
