X TV Series DVD 3 (Hyb)
Kathy Hunter - Jan 20 2003 Rating: "Okay." Why The Rush I have been collecting the X DVD's because I like CLAMP and I liked the X MOVIE. But I have to admit that the X series seems to be rushed. It seems like all the dvd's so far 1-3 are not flowing together. I notice that each one is telling more about the angels (heaven and earth) and how they came to be. If I wanted a drama I would have bought one. I originally bought X because of the action, but now it seems to be less action and more drama. I am still impressed with Pioneer's release of this series. The video and audio transfer is perfect. The translations are excellent, with few liberties taken. The dub is even good. However, a big problem still remains. The opening and closing songs remain un-transliterated. Where are the romanized Japanese lyrics? I've e-mailed Pioneer animation about this, and am awaiting a response. |
