Inu Yasha DVD 1 (Hyb): Down the Well
Chris A - Aug 3 2002 Rating: Wonderful! One of the best series ever done. Takahashi's best ever The story is very true to the Manga. The story of Inu-Yasha (A half-demon character) starts out with non-stop action. From the very beginning I was hooked on this series. It starts out with Inu-Yasha being killed, and sealed away forever. When he was trying to steal the Shikon Jewel. The jewel that can make any wish, or dream come true. The person who stops him, is his best friend Kikyo. Kikyo dies right after she kills and seals Inu-Yasha away. Kikyo's reincarnation is a girl named Kagome. Kagome falls into a well, and finds herself being pulled into Inu-Yasha's world. Kagome spots Inu-Yasha and feels compelled to touch his ears. She wakes Inu-Yasha up by mistake, and the adventure begins. I don't want to spoil this for anybody. You just need to watch it, and I highly recommend this. All I can say is, SIT!!!!!!!!!!!! This is one of the greatest anime series ever, in my opinion anyways. Inu Yasha isn't the typical save the day hero. He is flawed like everyone else. The series is good in the beginning but it really gets good when Kikyo returns and the story of the lost relationship between Inu Yasha and Kikyo unfolds. The best anime ever I've seen a pretty large scale of anime and this one to me takes the cake. Its the perfect blend of comedy, romance, and drama. From the creator of Ranma 1/2 we all know where in for a good laugh, but the story is one of the best ever. I won't go into detail to avoid spoiling the plot. I've have up to episode 88 downloaded on my computer(from a relable source:). On a final note this is one of those animes that suxs dubbed, hell the can't even say the names right let alone put feeling into the speech, anyway i totally recommend this anime so buy it now...come on do it! Handel S. Williams - Aug 6 2003 Prodigal22@aol.com Rating: This sucked! HORRIBLE! The Disc, not the show Viz should be beaten within an inch of their life. Inu Yasha is a WONDERFUL series, I love it. But let's face facts: Inu Yasha has well over 100 episodes; Viz is putting THREE on each disc. This means Viz is more concerned with making a buttload of money than giving you a quality product. Unfortunately for me, I bought two of these freakin' discs before I found this out. My advice: Wait for a boxed setthat better be discounted before shelling out any cash to Viz. |
