Big Boobs, Hot dancing, and no nudity. Yet still Kicks Ass!!
I haven't seen an anime in some time since Blood the Last Vampire came out, and before that it had been months. But I went and got Jungle De Ikou cause I was fried and thought the pictures on the cover looked pretty cool. Then I went home and watched it. I thougth it was awesome. The animation and character designs are nice, I like the addition of SD characters and the toilet humor is great, even though the kids are supposed to be 10 years old for crap's sake. If your looking for a DVD with the whole story on it and doesn't come in a 20 disc set(like everything else seems to be doing these days) then this might just be up your alley. Full of fantasy and dancing and jubblies and just loads of fun, Jungle De Ikou is a little something different, yet the same. OUT

Humor, fanservice....and a plot!!
You've got an opinion of this series from reading the description and the reviews - and trust me, it's much funnier than you think.

Bizarre humor, massive mammaries, and a great plot!
THRILL to Natsumi's strange misadventures! MARVEL at Ahem's (ahem) unusual decoration! LAUGH at Ongo's voice! STARE as Mie dances... stare a whole freakin' lot! Hahaha!
All turn-of-the-century advertising aside, "Jungle De Ikou" really is a great show. In a way, it's also a bit of a paradox in that it has a lot of sexual humor without that being THE focus. It's sort of hard to explain, but they manage to have this girl-turned-godess with a huge chest be the star without it being an overly dirty title. As someone else mentioned, you won't find nudity anywhere on this DVD.
By the same token, you won't find many deep thoughts, confusing storylines, or "meaning-of-life" type of things here. What you WILL find is some of the most memorable characters, hilarious situations, and all-around FUN to be offered by any anime. The voice actors for the English dub do a really terrific job (I especially liked Ahem and Ongo). The Japanese is probably great as well, but I haven't watched JDI subbed yet. As for music, the BGM is above-average and the opening theme rocks!
Overall, I'd highly recommend "Jungle De Ikou" to anyone who has a wicked sense of humor and doesn't mind a little silliness. Give it a shot!
