The R Series In All It's Unrivaled Glory Though the series could've done better without the Doom Tree story arc, Sailor Moon R is still a good $159.00 well spent just to see the origins of Chibi Usagi and her adventures in trying to retrieve the Silver Crystal from Sailor Moon to defeat the Black Moon's sinister agents and restore peace to Crystal Tokyo, circa 2993. It's also got a couple of great fight anthems like "Ai No Senshi" and "La Soldier", which are completely absent from the English versions. You also get a highlights episode which has a sneak preview of Sailor Moon S (actually, a couple of scenes from Episode 1). Final Cataclsym - Apr 21 2004 FunkmasterJP@Juno.com Rating: Wonderful! Brings back memories. Watching this series over has brought back many memories just like the first episode restored Usagi's memories. As I watch more and more I remembered more and more and my love of the show grew. Once again the scouts rose to the challege to fight evil and made friends with their former enemies. That my friends shows compassion and courage even I can't phatom. I eagerly await for someone (JP is wishing on a star) to import/sub/dub Sailor Stars, the last Sailor Moon series. H. T. Otherwise, I found this to be well worth my time, and very enjoyable. Chibi-Usa is as big a brat as ever ^_^ A must for true-blue Sailor Moon fans. We're talking barely 64kb/s here. You'd think that ADV would have remastered it. Two: Episode 67 is missing. Toei yanked this before ADV had a chance to put it on the boxsets. Nicholas J. I also like this one more, cos as far as original content, this is the one I know the least about. Besides that, my thoughts are pretty much the same as they were for the first season. Audio - (10/10) - Unlike Sailor Moon, Sailor Moon R's audio doesnt have that muffled sound on any of the episoeds Subtitles (10/10) - Excellent subs! Story (10/10) - Sailor Moon R's stroy line isnt like Sailor Moon's story line where every episoed is just about the same thing; this series gets more into detail about what's going and everything, and it even get confusing at some points!
