Nohiro, accompanied by three small Faeries (Shian, Hanakusuku and Miyabi), follows a call to the Eastern continent of Arinas, where he discovers Kharl's castle. There he finds an anxious and homicidal Garfakcy, uncovers a plot by Kharl to revive his master, and locates an imprisoned Tintlet.

As the faerie-obsessed human attempts to save the day, Kitchel and Ringsley continue to search Arinas for the three treasures and a way out of the water cave in which they are trapped. Meanwhile, back in Draqueen, Rath awakens to the news that Cesia agreed to go with Nadil in exchange for the safety of the castle and vows to get her back.
