Finally i did a little dance when i first learned that this was coming out Bounpraseuth Sounthonevichith - Mar 6 2002 saysoun@yahoo.com Rating: Wonderful! simply awesome this is my favorite anime of all the ones i've seen/bought. this includes the likes of ninja scroll, akira, ghost in the shell, utena, the bubblegum series 2032/2040, escaflowne, kenshin, both vampire hunter ds, dominion tank police, etc. etc. everything from the animation to the music in this ova are great. the stories are just a breath of fresh air as they are simply side achingly funny. nothing too serious here, just a lot of laughter. if you have never seen ranma than you owe it to yourself to at least check out a comic or two because if you like those than you will definite like the anime it is based upon. but, if you are a ranma 1/2 fan like myself it is a must own. the price might be a little steep for only twelve episodes on three dvds but i have yet to regret this purchase. the only espisode i do not like is the kuno one with the bird. it's ok. this box set is definitely worth the price of admission. Zachary Salter - Nov 9 2002 Rating: Wonderful! The Ranma 1/2 OAV's are Wonderful! If you have never seen Ranma 1/2 I would suggest you get the OAV boxset first. It has great quality animation and can be watched many times with out getting old. If you like any of Rumiko Takahashi's other anime's then your sure to like this one. Rakawi Ling - Dec 31 2003 Rating: Wonderful! Best anime of all times! Ranma ½ has got be one of the greatest manga and anime ever made! It is my all time favourite and this OAV boxset contains some of the best Ranma ½ animation! A must have for all Ranma ½ or Takahashi fans! Not to mention, the bonus extra stuffs included in the DVD are also wonderful ^_^ Jesse Hausler - Jun 18 2005 Rating: Wonderful! It just doesn't get any better than this! After nearly a decade of watching anime of every shape and kind, Ranma 1/2 is still my absolute favorite, and the OAV series personifies what makes this show so great. This collection features the same goofy cast of martial arts misfits that made the TV series so entertaining, with a serious upgrade in animation (if it weren't for the fact that they're only 30 minutes long, they could easily pass for movies). The plotlines in these episodes are simply fantastic, some of the best the series has ever seen. Also, the humor is literally laugh-a-minute; expect to be EXTREMELY out of breath by the end! Finally, this anime is one of the few where (in my opinion) the dub is just as good as the sub, maybe even better in some instances. In short, this is just about as close to a "perfect anime" as you'll get this side of eternity.
