Fun little Movie, loved it!
The information page states...“”Special Features: U.S. Cast Commentary””... NO THERE ISN’T, or at least my copy of the movie didn’t get the memo.

Cute movie, reminded me of a “Studio Ghibli” film. A great fun little film to watch on an otherwise do nothing Sunday, which is what I did.

Facebook Eats The World - And it’s up to a dorky teenager to fix it
I like getting anime movies. They have higher production value, better animation, and often wrap things up after about 90 minutes. And that is what Summer Wars does.

The story starts off with two boys working as programmers on the huge, global social networking site called OZ. When a girl from their class “hires” one of them for the summer, he goes to visit her extended family for her grandmothers 90th birthday. But OZ gets hacked. Everything computer controlled goes to pot. And no one initially knows what is happening.

But this movie while looking beautiful, also tells a couple stories in parallel. Successfully balancing the global computer failure to the family drama storyline and tying them together is what makes this movie a joy to watch.

This anima is strange. Yet entertaining. it has a little for ever one. A blooming love story set along side with a computer virus that steals people accounts on a web site that should IMHO never exist. The virus then steals it way into military application and well... kind of sounds like a japanese war games. it has family entanglements that add the spice of live to it. i laughed a lot at this one. It was so fun to watch. give it a try you might like it

I thought this was an awesome movie. High quality, great art, entertaining story and fun characters. It was just a touch over dramatic for me in two little parts but altogether I really really enjoyed watching this. So sweet too, made me cry. I recommended watching it for sure :)
