Bakemonogatari Blu-ray Complete Set (S) Limited Edition
Luis C. Rodriguez - Jul 16 2014
Rating: Wonderful!
For the most part, worth the price.
I know that Aniplex's prices are sometimes pretty difficult to deal with. Me being a big fan of the series myself was kind of disheartened at the fact that Aniplex had picked up. Regardless, I am content with the chipboard case and booklet although for $149.99 I expected a little more than that, admittedly. The inclusion of the character commentaries and the obvious touching up of the visuals was handled perfectly. Overall, in terms of visuals, Blu-ray's are the way to go if you are willing to deal with the price tag. To any fan of the show, this is a definite must-buy. And knowing Aniplex and considering it is a limited edition, I would hurry before being forced to pay even more for these absolutely stunning Blu-rays.
Puella Magi Madoka Magica the Movie -Rebellion- Blu-ray (S) LE (Import)
Luis C. Rodriguez - Jul 16 2014
Rating: Wonderful!
Absolutely worth it for any collector or fan!
Aniplex has been taking notes. As a community, we have made a point of wanting more bang for our buck and Aniplex definitely delivered with the release of Rebellion. Although in the past Aniplex has disappointed with average releases for astronomical prices, this release proves that they have made an effort to justify their prices. The movie itself was already stunning even not in Blu-ray but I was absolutely blown away with the touching up and effort put into this edition. The inclusion of the soundtracks, the high quality and unique chipboard cover, and the disc case itself made for a satisfying addition to my collection. For anyone looking to own this movie, even the standard edition should leave you satisfied with the visuals and quality of the movie itself. But if you are willing to go the extra mile and spend a little more, this edition is the way to go.
Pet Girl of Sakurasou, The DVD Collection 1 (S)

Charming Comedy!
This is a charming comedy featuring an eccentric group of artsy students and lots of CATS! ^_^ Cats are a main focus in this anime, I even believe that the 3 main female characters have cat-like personalities. Mashiro is that unpredictable bipolar cat who will get in your face at random times to demand something of you. Nanami is the touch me and you die type of cat. While Misaki is the mischievous cat that wants to play all the time. I especially love how there is more than one love story going on but nothing feels rushed or out of place. The opening and ending songs are extremely catchy too. This is an anime romp that's got talent out the butt! I will definitely be watching Season 2! Me-OW!
