Cowboy Bebop Movie: Knocking On Heaven's Door DVD (Hyb)

This is a no brainer, you MUST have this DVD if you are a Bebop fan. An incredible soundtrack and fight scenes that put Spike's best brawls to shame. The animation will make you drool, that is how good it is. I have a fansub of it, so I saw it long before it hit theatres. I am dying for a copy with the English voice cast. Either way this movie is sweet. Jack Milborn - Apr 17 2003 Rating: Wonderful! Cowboy Bebop kicks ass!!! I first saw this about 6 months ago and it blew me away. The storyline revolves mostly around Spike and attempts to get this madman to "justice". There are a lot of fight scenes and chases. Faye Valentine play a major part in the storyline also as she is taken hostege by the villian and very nearly gets raped. The special effects as befits a feature presentations budget were very good, especially the subway train chase sequence. The music as always (thank heaven for Yokko Kanno) was fantastic. I won't give any more of the story away, but you have to add this to your collection!! A good thing is, even if you don't know diddly about Cowboy Bebop you can enjoy this no problem. I saw the movie when it came out in dallas in april. It blew me away, got the series on dvd and cant wait to buy the movie, CBTM has every thing we all love about the series and more theres humor, (opening scene where spike and jet argue in the middle of a stand off between spike and a bounty head)is just one example, the fights spike have in this movie are thrity times better then any of his fist fights in the series even blowing the asteroid blues fight away, the music is superb from beginning to end everyone was tapping their feet with the music. get the soundtrack too. The plot is incredible the animation is awsome. hopefully shinchiro watanabe will realize what a great thing bebop is and make a prequel series with spike in the syndicate. They finally made a sequel right - instead of making a story that happens after the series ends they made this as if it were just one of the regular eposides, and it works great! I saw this on the big screen (U.S. release) just outstanding. Ok Cowboy Bebop starts out great, animation is well done, the action is ok, and the dubbing is ok. What I have a problem with is the story line. The story line is so bad, which I had a hard time keeping my eyes open. The only thing the kept one eyes open was Ed and some of the action seen. Moving onto this Vincent guy, you know the bad guy, who wants to kill everyone in the world. Why because he lost all of his memories, instead of trying to get is memories back he want to kill everybody. Um, what a guy. My question is what was the writers thinking? From the series, the music from all of the battle sequences. It's just not the same watching spike's flight (chase) with the "army" pilots to other music.
