Oboro has blinded herself in order to avoid having to kill Gennosuke, her lover - and her rival. Meanwhile, Gennosuke has urged the Iga clan to join him on a journey to Sunpu to find out the real motive behind Ieyasu Tokugawa's orders to fight. But the Iga has other plans...

The titanic battle between the clans rages on. Akeginu and the blinded Oboro of the Iga clan encounter a powerful aristocrat named Ofuku, who will do whatever it takes to make her godson, Takechiyo, the next Shogun. If Ofuku and her troops join forces with the Iga, will the Kouga still have a chance at victory?

With only three ninja remaining on each side, the battle between the Iga and the Kouga clans is nearing its bloody end. Believing he has slain Yakushiji Tenzen, shape-shifter Saemon Kisaragi morphs into Tenzen's body and infiltrates Iga territory. But what Saemon doesn't know is that Tnezen is an immortal ninja, and that he has his own plan to dispose of Saemon and the Kouga clan.

Fourteen-year-old Yukio Tanaka is one heck of a boring guy. He has no hobbies, a weak taste in music, and only a small vestige of a personality. His shy and somewhat neurotic personality makes him his own worst enemy. Koyuki is being offered a solo recording deal by none other than Leon Sykes himself! Despite the honor and the incredible opportunity this is, he declines. But is there any hope left for Beck? Ryusuke's gone, Taira is in another band, Chiba is working at a ramen shop, and Saku is transferring away! Is this the end of Beck?

The band members accidentally get themselves booked on their first American tour, but Ryusuke has disappeared! Jet-lagged, exhausted and unable to get in a groove without Ryusuke, Beck's first American tour may also be their last. Where is he? How long can they last on the road without him?

After seeing Izumi fawn over Ryusuke's extended blues session, Koyuki is determined to practice like a madman on the dusty old acoustic guitar Ryusuke gives him. Later at a bar, Ryusuke suggests a tryout for a position in his new band between Koyuki and potential singer Chiba. Koyuki winds up joining a Beatles cover band that is partaking in a Battle of the Bands festival. The loser will be forced to strip naked!

As Koyuki's fondness of Maho grows, so does the tension between him and Hyodo, the class bully. When the two scuffle, Koyuki doesn't seem to stand a chance in the ensuing melee. As Beck's gig approaches, Ryusuke unveils his latest six-string: Lucille, a bullet-holed guitar. Before showtime, Ryusuke tries to apologize to Koyuki for being dishonest. Meanwhile, two Beck fans visit New York and encounter a dog that looks like Ryusuke's dog.

Koyuki is left alone after Izumi graduates, but losing Izumi is the least of his problems because he still faces Hyodo's bullying. In spite of everyone's doubts, Koyuki's guitar playing skills are quickly getting better. Koyuki continues to remain victorious in the eyes of the naysayers. Hyodo plots to humiliate Koyuki at school one more time. Will Koyuki ever be good enough to make the band?
