Vampire Knight DVD 1 (Hyb)

A highlight of the series
I'm not sure if I can recount when I first discovered Vampire Knight, but I do know that I was estatic about the anime anouncment. I may not recall everything, but I do believe it stuck with the manga storyline. If it deviated at all it wasn't to noticable. If anyone is wondering, I would say it takes you to the end of the "first" story arc. Not that there really is an arc in this series. Either way you get to see the characters flowing, and the twisted emotions that make you feel sorry for the characters. I'm placing my order now :) lol

Well, there's Zero..
Vampire Knight is pretty good.. if you can stomach the vampire//romance genre. The action is fairly noted, but the over powering love triangle between Zero/Yuuki/Kaname can be sort of tiresome after so many episodes of it. And the angst. And the "oops" moments when Yuuki will just find herself cut and bleeding, with a predictable reaction from whatever vampire happens to roam the area.
I think I could have enjoyed this anime more if I actually liked the main heroine. Unfortunately, I do not. I personally think Yuuki is somewhat dense and too airy to be the center of all of this, especially since she can't go three episodes without getting drained dry or knocked down.
