Cha Kang-jin (Go Soo) and Han Ji-wan (Han Ye-Seul) first met as teenagers in their small town. He was a poor transfer student with a troubled past. She was an impulsive schoolgirl who wore her heart on her sleeve. Overcome by guilt stemming from a family tragedy, Ji-wan rejected Kang-jin and ran away from home without a word.
Eight years later, Kang-jin runs into Ji-wan in Seoul – at her engagement reception. The two must confront the first love they've never forgotten, and the painful past that prevents them from being together.
