Love Hina Again: The Movie DVD (Hyb)
C B. O - Aug 15 2003 OgieDoggie@aol.com Rating: Not all that good. Another big disappointment for us Love Hina fans - sorry ! Sorry guys, but for us Love Hina fans this is another big disappointment (story wise) just like the last one "Love Hina Spring Special". They do nothing with the love relationship between our two students. They even think up an excuse for Keitaro to miss the begining of his first year at the University. And we get to meet Keitaro's little sister who by the way also has the HOTS for her big brother (now that is really SICK!). Kevin S. Baughan - Aug 16 2003 Kbon14@msn.com Rating: Pretty good! Worth a look If you are a DIE hard Love Hina fan, like me, then this DVD is worth looking at. There is nothing new that you learn concerning the promise, just to let you know. You may have thought that it told you about who the promised girl was... but it does not tell you in any of the anime series. You have to read the 14th book to find that out. Anyway, if you like to art of the manga, then you will love LOVE HINA AGAIN. The artwork is more of the style the Akamatsu san drew in his comics and many people like Love Hina Again for that reason. Be prepared for TONS of Fan Service. It is rated 16+ for a VERY good reason. There is not 5 minutes in the DVD where there is not fan service. (literally) so if you do not think kindly of fan service and naked people swimming in Hot Springs, then I am warning you now. Do not get this DVD. There is 5 times as much fan service as there was in Love Hina. But the story is ok and like I said, if you are a DIE hard love hina fan, get this DVD to complete your collection. Koop Laforcade - Sep 18 2003 Koop_laforacde@yahoo.com Rating: Wonderful! Fantastic art-work! Entertaining! Love Hina Again, I really liked it alot! Is a lot better than the series, and It will not get you bored not even a bit and expect a lot of fan service like the manga! Really good art-work with a lot of frames! Is one classic on the OVAS in the anime history!! Warren Antiola - Jan 1 2004 hanappe_bazooka@yahoo.com Rating: Not all that good. They butchered the manga! I understand that sometimes you have to sacrifice alloted time and creative differences when switching to TV but this one totally sucked. The manga plot was much better and truer to life as far as situations. |
