Comic Party Revolution DVD 3 (Hyb): The Party's Over

Wow I started thinking about what I might say as each part of the story went by, on how the Comic Party (now with more harem) ends... and then the last episode hit. Wow, I have to say that was a real screwball. The first three episodes on this disc are more of what we have enjoyed all along from both the original and revolution series. I hope there are more seasons to come, if for no other reason then further opportunities to be completely dumbfounded by a story walking you along a brightly lit path, only to find yourself in a house of mirrors. Extras included on the volume are standard fare, but the mental tongue twister finale makes the series a definite must even without a box. So, here's my take on an anime whose originally from you proud folks at Right Stuf Int., and went OVA + Harem + Comic Party = the sequel to (not possibly) end all sequels. Ep. 10: The way I see it, it's all about friendship. And the animation is all gritty and colorful. You could see Eimi & Asahi are very goo together, unlike Yu & Eimi. Ep. 11: Now there's what you call "Twilight Zone" parody. There's no such thing as a Poison Manga. The Storyline, however, convinced me. Ep. 12: 2 words: drab storyline and dull animation, but voice atcors is okay. Ep. 13: Like H*ll I'm gonna review that episode. I don't want to spoil the ending to a great anime. Overall, I give it a 9 1/2. Thus, my comrades, ends Comic Party... for now... maybe(?). |
