It is the original boy trying to get into college anime. It is a great title and has some of the most humorous characters from Mrs. Ichinose to Mr. Yatsuya. Disfunctional only begins to describe the merriment. The animation is average and yet it has its artistic moments for late 1980s animation. If you enjoyed all Takahashi's other works such as Ranma 1/2 and Inu Yasha then you should take a look into this series. I recommended it with three and a half stars out of five. kiri miro - Nov 25 2003 Rating: Wonderful! wonderful this series is just plain wonderful. there is really nothing not to like about this series. however, i am still a little disappointed that viz still has not translated the opening and ending theme songs for this series. oh well, at least you can now change the audio and subtitle option while watching the show without having to go into the menu section like the first boxset because the u.s. dub is horrendous. |
