2012, five hours before the comet crashes into the Earth. Only five hours left to Earth's total annihilation. Everyone is doomed. The fatal comet that is about to crash into the Earth can be seen glowing across the sky. After America's plan to blast the comet fails, everyone leaves the city to seek shelter, but one record store remains open where five strangers are gathered to discuss and resolve the fate of the world.
A curt-looking man in a wheelchair, Tanikuchi claims that the Earth is doomed. "The probability is 100%, not 99%." But the manager just calmly mumbles, "The Righteous Apostle will save the Earth." The song "Fish Story" by a nameless '70s band can be heard playing on the record turntable. On the back of the album cover it says, "There is a silent pause during the song. It was put there by the song's makers on purpose."
Does this obscure punk song contain the ingredients to save our way of life? That's what these strangers will find out for us by revisiting the inception to "Fish Story," traveling in time to 1975, 1982, 2007 and 2009!
