 Mondo Nakamura was a loyal samurai, serving under an established magistrate. However, when the magistrate is murdered, he is replaced by the young and handsome Okuda. Along with the young magistrate comes a rush of mysterious murders, and Mondo is soon caught up in political games and deadly swordfights!
Amidst the lavish excess of the Japanese magistrates and all
the trappings of their courtly life, Mondo fights to unravel the mystery of
Okuda. Coming across scandal after scandal, he finds that corruption paves
a road all the way to the Shogun himself! But even then, Mondo is not
afraid to fight for his own honor, and avenge those who died during the
investigation.
