Jeff Price - Apr 6 2011 jsprice30@gmail.com Rating: Pretty good! All the wackiness without the existentialism I had watched an episode of Haruhi-chan on the internet, but wasn’t really impressed. However, like a good collector, I decided to pick this up since I have her other DVDs and books. And I was surprised at how good these little gems of episodes were. Each has its own comedic idea and plays it out. And the continuity from the original series is present, but twisted just enough to make it really funny. However I really enjoyed the couple episodes of Churuya-san. She’s just a minor character in the main series’, but in her own bite size episodes, she blossomed into a character I’d like to see more of. Definitely a purchase for Haruhi fans. If you’re not, you most likely will scratch your head if you get through the whole disk. |
