This story had me hooked when I watched a poorly translated import version of the anime! It's that good! Lovely and hilarious! You must read this! I heard about this series from my friend Stephanie. When I found the first book in the library, I immediately stuck my nose in the book. The story was so funny! How easily Tohru hugged an attacking Kyo at first sight still amazes me! Now that I'm hooked on Fruits Basket, I'm more obsessed than Stephanie. Once you started reading, you can't stop.... i got my copy of this manga from a friend and tell you honestly, the moment i recieved it i was really hooked on reading it!!! if i where you watch the 26-episode anime first then try reading not just this volume but also the other volumes. i'm sure you'll gonna love it. i've been reading this for quite some time now... i've read it 10x already and i'll never stop reading it over and over again... it so inspiring and i can relate to. hope you too!!!! It's cute, funny, touching, and Yuki and Kyo really relate to me. Face it, its a good manga. I highly recommend it. It may be a shojo, but guys, I think you can like it too, I do. I just read the first volume, and I can't wait to save up the money and buy the rest. |
