One day Jun finds a website that asks him to put his order in his desk drawer, and thinking it's a joke, he does. The following day a suitcase arrives containing a doll named Shiku that comes to life when wound. Welcome to the world of Rozen Maiden, where Jun must protect and serve a living doll and another universe becomes reality...

Jun is stuck watching over Suiseiseki, one of the twin Rozen Maiden dolls. Suiseiseki hates humans, especially Jun. Unfortunately, Jun has never figured out why Suiseiseki has such hatred for humans. He wants Suiseiseki to like him, so he offers Suiseiseki help. Nonetheless, what Suiseiseki has set for Jun is more than life-threatening.

Jun is back on the Internet! This time he is looking for answers concerning a "dream." The closer he gets to understanding the dream, the more he learns about the crazy world of the Rozen Maidens. Jun finds out the answers are hidden within the Rose Mansion, but will never be the same once he truly understands his dream.

It seems that sickness and death looms large in the mysterious world of Rozen Maiden. Suiguintoh may be able to heal her master, but who will heal her? Suiseiseki and Shinku meet in a dream to confront the loss of Sousuiseki - but they do not seem to be alone in their mourning. Meanwhile, Jun may be getting better, but will it all be short-lived if memories continue to haunt him?

We glimpse into Suiguintoh's past, and after Jun sees the mysterious girl/doll, he finally wakes up. The mysterious girl in Jun's dream seems to be the seventh maiden, who manipulates people in their dreams. What does she want from him?

The Seventh Doll brings about the demise of Hinaichigo before Shinku can save her, but Hinaichigo's Rosa Mystica manages to find its way to Shinku. The Seventh Doll then appears before Suiguintoh and requests Meg in exchange for all the sisters' Rosa Mystica. Could it be that the Seventh Doll desires physical existence?
